By submitting an application for a Stall at the Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets or renewing a current Stall, the Stallholder acknowledges that they have read and understood and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy which are available at www.carseldinemarkets.com.au

Booking Enquiries

If you are interested in applying for either a permanent or casual Stall please complete our online application form which is available at www.carseldinemarkets.com.au or call us on 0490 493 760 (9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday).

In order to receive your requirements accurately and to respond faster we prefer online enquiries.

Please be aware that we do not offer refunds for stall cancellations (after payment has been made), this includes credits or transfers.

Permanent Monthly Bookings

Stalls are booked on a permanent basis one month at a time. Permanent fees are paid in advance by the 20th of the current month for the stall bookings of the following month.

Once attendance is confirmed we will provide you with all the relevant information you need.

Upon arrival at the markets you will be met at the Front Entrance to the Markets and shown to your allocated site by one of our friendly staff.

Permanent Stall Fees

Start from $45 per stall.

Permanent stallholders attend each week and pay for a full month in advance. This payment is due by the 20th of the month prior to attendance.

Casual Bookings

A limited number of casual stall spaces are available each week at Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets. Casual stalls must be booked and payment must be received by 3.00pm on the Wednesday prior to the Saturday that you are attending the market.

Once attendance is confirmed we will provide you with all the relevant information you need.

Upon arrival at the markets you will be met at the Front Entrance to the Markets and shown to your allocated site by one of our friendly staff.

Casual Stall Fees

Start from $65 per stall.

Stallholder eviction

Carseldine Markets reserves the right to evict any stallholder from the market for any reason, before, during, or after the market without notice. This includes the refusal as well as the cancellation of an advance booking or booking schedule.

Temporary Food Stall License

If you are operating a Food Stall and are unsure about Brisbane City Council requirements for a “Temporary Food Stall License’” please contact the Brisbane City Council on 133 263 or visit the Council’s website at www.brisbane.qld.gov.au for further information.

Charity & Community Groups

Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets support the local community and registered charities. If you qualify as a local community group or a registered charity, we offer heavily discounted Stall fees which are subject to availability.

Information Desk

The Information Desk is located at the Front Entrance. A first aid kit and the Lost & Found register are also located at the desk.

Stallholder Entry and Exit

Entry times are specific for each Stallholder and will be emailed to each Stallholder/ will be agreed upon before the market day.

Exit time is between 12.30pm – 2pm. No packing down during official market hours. All gazebos and gear must be packed down before bringing vehicle on-site.

Please do not move your vehicle until customers have vacated.

Stall Sizes

Small (1.5m x 1.5m)

Medium (3m x 3m)

Large/Specialty (requires approval by market operator)

Stallholder Parking

Stallholder parking is available along Dorville Rd. No Stallholder is allowed to park within the market area unless prior approval has been given by Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets Management. Parking is available free of charge.

Please be aware that we cannot be made liable for any parking fines.

Additional Services

$15 Electricity Levy per week

All stallholders must supply their own public liability insurance.

Facilities

Toilets can be found in the food court or down by the Dorville Rd entry.

Restrictions

Products for sale are limited to:

The sale of some second hand items and counterfeit/illegal goods is not allowed.

You must have your own public and product liability insurance if you sell certain products. Please ensure you meet any local, state and federal law requirements.

Important: All food and produce labelling or signs must correctly identify the location and region of origin. This is also an important part of letting your customers know where & what type of seasonal item they are purchasing, whether you are a grower, co-op, wholesaler, distributor, retailer, helping the neighbours, friends or other - this is required. Please ensure this is displayed at all times.

Special Requirements for Food and Beverage Stalls

All Food Stalls need to have a canvass on the floor of their stall to prevent staining. This is a condition of attendance and trading.

All Coffee Stalls need to remove any rubbish and left-over coffee grounds, before leaving the site.

Rubbish

Rubbish is each stallholder’s responsibility. Customer rubbish will be removed by the market operator. This is not provided for stallholder use at any time.

DO NOT leave your trading rubbish behind or a charge of $35 will be incurred.

Damages

Any damage found to equipment, landscaping, lighting, lessor’s (property owners) and/or market owner’s property will be charged to the individual responsible.

Power

Stallholders are not, under any circumstances, to approach or touch any power outlets around the market at all times. If there are any issues with the power, staff is to be contacted at the Information Desk immediately.

Information for Visitors

Pets

We are a pet friendly market and allow dogs/cats/pigs (on a leash) access to the markets. We also provide free bowls of water at the Front Entrance.

Unlike other markets we do not charge any entry fees.

How to Get There

The Carseldine Markets are conveniently located at the Old QUT Carseldine Campus, 532 Beams Rd.

With the Carseldine train station only 150m away, the markets are easily accessed via public transport, bike and car.

Please do not arrive by helicopter ;)

Visitor Parking

The Carseldine Markets provides over 600 parking bays free of charge. Visitor parking is available via Beams Rd or Dorville Rd. Disabled parking is available above the lower car park off Dorville Rd.

Please note, no visitor parking is allowed within the market area.

ATM’s are available on site.

Campus and portable toilets are located in the Food court and by the Dorville Rd entry, respectively.

Information for Entertainers

The Carseldine Farmers & Artisan Markets has and welcomes entertainers and buskers to perform at the market each Saturday.

Arrival time is typically 7.30am with an 8am start through to 11.45am.

Please provide your own amp and equipment.

The stage is in the main area, please check-in at the info desk.
